Check out this coverage of Saturday's Walk Against Warming in the Wollongong Advertiser.Please come along to the walk to demand action on climate. Speakers so far include: John Kaye, Greens MLC; Jess Moore, Socialist Alliance candidate for Cunningham; George Takacs, Greens candidate for Cunningham; Genevieve Kelly, NSW secretary, National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU); and Patrick Harrison, enviro rep, Wollongong Uni students.
After speakers we'll hear from a class of students from St Brigid's, Gwynneville. They've written a song about climate change and will perform it on stage! Then we'll walk to WA Lang Park for a sustainable BBQ, stalls & entertainment.
